It is dedicated to making meaningful impact in the lives of stakeholders, individuals, businesses and communities they serve.

Mr Daniel Wilson Addo, Managing Director, CBG, said the Bank believed in the power of community and the importance of contributing to the development and sustainability of communities it served.

“Our CSR initiatives are built on the core pillars of health, community development and education. Through these pillars, we contribute to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in addressing key areas that drive progress and well-being of the people, hence the enhancement of the health infrastructure,” he stated.

Mr Addo said the facility, which had served the community for many year, was in dire need of laboratory, saying “our inquiry confirmed that until now, patients had to travel to Mampong for laboratory tests, often at great inconvenience and cost, hence the provision of the laboratory, which will eliminate the need for long trips in accessing laboratory services at other health centres and also ensure a timely and accurate medical care.

“ As we look to the future, this laboratory will stand as a beacon of CBG’s commitment to the people of Larteh, our partnership for Larteh Health Centre is not just for today but for the years to come  and we are confident that this investment will lead to improved healthcare outcomes and overall community development.”

He commended the chiefs and people of Larteh for the support.

Mrs Regina Akweley Klutse, Deputy Director, Nursing and Midwifery Services, Akuapim North Health Directorate, was grateful for the gesture, which she said would go a long way to meet the health needs of the people.

Mrs klutse said the provision of laboratory services within every health institution was essential for quality and effective healthcare delivery.

She said: “Out of our four health centres in the municipality, Larteh Health Centre has taken the lead in having a laboratory facility, CBG has been of good help to us, I believe that this intervention, including the necessary equipment, will ensure enhancement of services at the Health Centre as well as a better and improved health care services.”

The Deputy Director appealed for the provision of a theatre and staff residential accommodation so that health workers would be willing to serve at the Centre.

The chiefs and people of Larteh expressed gratitude to the Organisation for enhancing healthcare delivery in the community.

They also appealed for a library to meet the educational needs of students and pupils in the community.
