Twelve of the babies were delivered through Caesarean Section and they were all in stable condition, including their mothers, she told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview.
However, the twins among them ( boy and girl) born on December 24, were at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Madam Kumah said this when MTN Ghana, a telecommunication company, presented Christmas hampers containing baby diapers, washing powder, baby dresses, soaps, court sheets, and cotton buds among other items to the mothers.
In a breakdown, she said seven babies; a boy and six girls were born on December 24.
Eight babies; three girls and five boys were born on Christmas Day, and two girls born on December 26.
Earlier, Mr Kofi Owusu, the Bono Regional Manager, MTN Ghana, explained the presentation was in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
“The babies are born on a special day and we have to join their mothers to celebrate their birth by providing them with the Christmas packages”, he said, and urged the parents to take good care of the new-born.
