Former MCE Simon Kweku Tetteh honoured for outstanding public service

The Transfiguration Anglican Church, Odumase Krobo, under the Anglican Diocese of Koforidua, has recognized the exceptional contributions of Mr. Simon Kweku Tetteh during his tenure as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Lower Manya Krobo Municipality. 

During a special ceremony, the church honoured Mr. Tetteh with a citation, commending his dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, which earned him the affectionate title “Adwuma Wura” among community members.

Venerable Solomon Kwesi Frimpong, Archdeacon of the church, stated in the citation that Mr. Tetteh’s humility and commitment to the municipality’s development were highly commendable.

He emphasized that Mr. Tetteh’s unwavering service to the people of Lower Manya Krobo had left a lasting impact.

The Parish Priest, Church Wardens, Parochial Church Council, and the entire congregation, also expressed their deep appreciation for his efforts, noting that the positive changes initiated under his leadership had significantly improved the community.

The church acknowledged that Mr. Tetteh’s selfless service extended beyond his official duties, as he continuously supported the community with various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents.

The church leaders emphasized that his hard work and passion for development resonated with the values of the congregation, making him a worthy recipient of the honour.

In a heartfelt prayer, the church expressed their hope that God, who guided the former MCE throughout his tenure, would continue to protect and uplift him.

They also prayed for blessings upon him and his household.

The congregation reiterated their best wishes for his future endeavours, hoping that his good works would continue to inspire others in leadership roles.

The ceremony was attended by community members, church leaders, and well-wishers who celebrated his achievements and prayed for his continued success.
