Mr Amos, speaking with the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Tema, said a total of 200 residents were targeted; however, due to the huge number of people patronizing, the number would be extended to 300 before the end of the week.

He added that the exercise, which began on July 17 and is expected to end on July 21, was to ensure the promotion of the health needs of the community members through easy and affordable access to quality healthcare services.

He said he paid for the registration as part of measures to help deliver quality health care to the people, minimize costs incurred when they go to the Hospital, and remind the e electorate of his desire to be elected as the Assembly Member for the area again.

Mr Amos said it was also to help enroll those who had difficulty registering for the scheme due to financial difficulties, adding that there was a need for stakeholders to come on board to ensure that every citizen registered.

He urged Ghanaians to take advantage of the initiative to register to have access to quality healthcare services, and he urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the exercise to improve their health conditions.
