Mrs Apawu made the call at the 146th Anniversary and Speech and Prize Giving Day celebration of the Mfantsipim School in Cape Coast.
The celebration was on the theme: “Hen nanaanom botae pa: producing graduates fit for the fourth industrial revolution”.

The Acting Director noted that education was indispensable for the holistic growth of the socio-cultural, technological and political dispensation.
She added that it was the main conduit for imparting knowledge and proper upbringing for the youth to be self -reliant and also to gain competitive advantage on the various global platforms.
Mr Chris Essilfie, Chairman for the celebration in his address, said there should be strong ties between institutions of higher learning and industry to adequately prepare graduates for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He noted that for the children to be prepared to engage in a world alongside smart machines, they needed to be educated differently than in the past.
The celebration saw hundreds of old students in their Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) designed attires with either the schools badge or crest on them.
Students were seen in their red, black and white outfits with neat red customized bow-tie to match.
