Hohoe (V/R)-Ghana, Jan. 5, GNA – Madam Christine Afi Fiakpoe, a Legal Practitioner and member of the Hohoe Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has donated bags of rice to the executives as part of the seasonal festivities.
The 150 bags of rice, worth GH¢70,000, were presented to the constituency, branch and former executives of the party.
Madam Fiakpoe said the donation was to put smiles on the faces of the constituents, especially during the Christmas and New Year festivities, during which people must show love to one another.
“NDC as a party must work hard to regain the seat from the New Patriotic Party in 2024,” she said.
Madam Fiakpoe reiterated her intention to contest the primaries with plans to lead the Party in the next parliamentary elections.
She also donated an unspecified cash amount to the executive during the Constituency celebration of the 31 December Revolution.
Mr Newton Darkey, the Constituency Chairman, on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to Madam Fiakpoe for her support.
