– Mr. Gilbert Oppong Ennin, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Sefwi Wiawso District of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), has been installed as the Chief of Sefwi Kofikrom in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.
His stool name is Nana Kwasi Aduhene II.
In his inaugural speech, Nana Aduhene II appealed to the people of Kofikrom to unite and support him to develop the area.
He said: “I have come to continue the good work of my predecessors, and not bring division among you, so I urge you all to rally behind me so we can develop the community.”
He stated that he would prioritise education, saying, “It is my wish to support and help in educating our young ones because we all know that education is important, and it is the tool for development.”
The chiefs and people of Sefwi Boinzan in the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Area pledged their support for the newly installed chief of Sefwi Kofikrom to develop his area.
Dr Alex Ampabeng, the Deputy Finance Minister and the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for Juaboso Constituency, the Western North Regional staff of the NHIS led by the Regional Operations Manager, and staff of the various district offices graced the occasion.
