Mr Abraham Kaabawi, the Headmaster for the Nwawasua Municipal Assembly Basic School in the Sunyani Municipality has appealed for toilet facilities for the school children.
He said the community had turned the only toilet constructed for the school by a fun club years ago into public use.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Nwawasua, a farming community, Mr Kaabawi said it was now difficult for the teachers to find a place of convenience and appealed for washrooms as well.
He said the school also required more desks, worrying that presently many of the school children sat on the bare floor to learn.
Mr Kaabawi said former Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East, Mr Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh started work on the construction of a Kindergarten block, however, the project had been abandoned for months.
He appealed to the government, corporate and religious bodies and NGO and philanthropists to come to their aid.
