The Ghana Police Service is investigating an alleged attack on the convoy of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, which occurred on Monday, December 2, 2024, in Techiman, Bono East Region.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident took place while the Asantehene was returning from a funeral in Nkoranza.

Youths, believed to be from Techiman, reportedly threw stones at some buses in the convoy.
