The Ghana Police Service has placed a bounty of GHC50,000 on Hoyeefi, the alleged leader of the Nkaseim robbery gang, after declaring him wanted.
Five members of the gang have been arrested and are currently assisting police with investigations.
A release signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, Public Relations Officer of the Criminal Investigation Department, copied to the Ghana News Agency on Sunday, said the police had declared Hoyeefi wanted in connection with a robbery attack at Nkaseim in the Ahafo Region.
It said investigations had identified Hoyeefi as the leader of the robbery gang responsible for coordinated attacks on the Nkaseim Police Station, Adwumapa Cocoa Buying Company, Kobby Gold Buying Company, and areas around the Asutifi Rural Bank on December 2, 2025.
“The Ghana Police Service is offering a reward of GHC50,000 to any person who provides credible information leading to the arrest of the suspect,” the release said.
“Members of the public with information on his whereabouts are encouraged to contact the nearest police station or call the emergency numbers 191, 18555 or 112.”
