Elder Emmanuel Agyepong, a teacher, lost his personal belongings and property, when fire gutted his residential apartment at Tromeso in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region.
Mr Agyepong, a teacher at the Tromeso Roman Catholic Basic School told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the incident occurred Sunday June 8,2025,5 around 1500 hours.
Though no casualty was reported, he said the fire destroyed three laptop computers, a refrigerator, television set, mattresses, cooking utensils andcash of GH¢ 7, 200.

Mr Agyepong said he was at the farm when he received a distress call that his apartment had caught fifire and appealed for assistance.
The cause of the outbreak is still unknown.
