Tema-Ghana, Sept. 11, GNA – Mr. Manasseh Ofosuhene Asante, the Tema District Officer of the Electoral Commission, has given the assurance that his outfit is ready for the commencement of the limited voter registration exercise.
The Electoral Commission is having a nationwide limited voter registration exercise in its district offices across the country from Tuesday, September 12, 2023, to Monday, October 2, 2023, for persons who have turned 18 and above from the year 2020 to date.
Mr. Asante, revealing this to the Ghana News Agency, said the Tema District office was ready to run a smooth registration exercise and therefore encouraged eligible persons to visit the office for the registration.
He said they have received all the needed materials and machines for the exercise and, all was set for the exercise to take off on Tuesday.
On accessibility for persons with disabilities, he said they would be given preferential treatment to register without any struggles.
