THE BELIEVER AND PLEASING GOD OR WALKING IN GOD’S WILL
Heb.13.20 – May God, who puts all things together, makes all things whole, Who made a lasting mark through the sacrifice of Jesus, the sacrifice of blood that sealed the eternal covenant, Who led Jesus, our Great Shepherd, up and alive from the dead, [MSB]
Heb.13.21 – Now put you together, provide you with everything you need to please him, Make us into what gives him most pleasure, by means of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Messiah. All glory to Jesus forever and always! Oh, yes, yes, yes. [MSB]
God is the ONE who provides us with everything we will ever need in other to please Him or Walk in His Will.
He is the one into the business of Making Us Into What Gives Him The Most of All Pleasures ever.
Phil.2.12 – Dearest friends, you were always so careful to follow my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away you must be even more careful to put into action God’s saving work in your lives, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.
Phil.2.13 – For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.
The believer’s power, strength and energy, ability to be able to Walk in God’s Will and do that which Pleases God is not by the self disciplines and self efforts of the believer, rather it is God’s Working in the believer, giving him Godly desires, that makes it a possibility.
Is so simple, just as Paul puts it:
“I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me”.
Phil.4.13 – I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ ‘s sufficiency]. [AMP]
Therefore, as much as, we as believers wants to Please God and Walk in His Word or Will, we are to understand the strength and Empowerment for it is found IN CHRIST.
That is to say, THE MORE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST WE GROW IN AND FEED ON, THE MORE STRENGTH AND POWER WE DRAW FROM THE WELLS OF SALVATION INSIDE OF US TO BE ABLE TO WALK IN HIS WILL AND PLEASE GOD.
Therefore Child of God, if there is anything you should pursue after salvation, is the knowledge of Christ(KNOWING WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST).
Acts.20.32 – “And now I entrust you to God and the word of his grace–his message that is able to build you up(make you strengthened and empowered to walk in all God’s Will and Please Him) and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself.
