Ashaiman (GAR)-Ghana, May 13, GNA – Arrangements are still being made to commence the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary and presidential primaries at the Africa Advance School Park at Ashaiman, near Tema, as at 0900 hours on Saturday.
Voting was expected to have started at 0700 hours but due to the late arrival of election materials it had not started as at 0900 hours.

The three contenders for the parliamentary seat are Tony Afenyo, David Worwui-Brown, and incumbent Ernest Norgbey.
The Ghana News Agency observed that there was heavy presence of police who were helping to demarcate the area with metal barricades while delegates kept trooping in to vote.
