Fijai (WR)-Ghana, Dec 26, GNA – Wisdom Theological Seminary (WTS) in Takoradi has held its 5th Graduation ceremony to award certificates, diplomas, and degree to twelve graduating students comprising ten males and two females.
The ceremony was on the theme, “Commanding Excellence in Ministry” and attended by families of graduands, the clergy, and the public.
Reverend Dr Evans Ankomah, Principal of WTS said the school was established four years ago under the International Christian Worship Center (ICWC) to fulfil the mandate God gave to him to raise leaders who would become leaders in various ministries.
He noted that there was the need to train “soldiers” in the kingdom of Christ, especially in these last days when the church was expected to take the center stage and dictate the happenings.
“We need those who will stand as soldiers in this kingdom just as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did in the time of Nebuchadnezzar. We need those who will stand on their grounds and say no to idolism because many people have moved away from God and indulging in man-made gods and idols,” he stated.
He said that the courses were designed to motivate students positively, towards distinction, both in their spiritual and secular engagement, while the curriculum had been designed to inculcate excellence in ministry, leadership, social, economic, and other areas of human endeavours.
According to Rev Dr Ankomah, many beneficiaries of the school have had their ministries established on a sound footing and witnessed consistent growth while others have had their marriages and families established.
Meanwhile, others have experienced dynamic business growth and many more having their spiritual life enhanced and a turnaround in their financial lives.
President of the Students Representative Council (SRC), Madam Felicia Esi Yamoah described the Seminary as a place meant for people desiring sincere change and encounter with destinies through God adding, “WTS enlightens you spiritually and mentally to hold on to the truth”.
She thanked the leadership of the Seminary for availing themselves to be used by God as a blessing and for their tremendous sacrifice for students throughout the life changing period.
She, therefore, called on the public to make it a duty to learn at the feet of Jesus Christ by enrolling in the Seminary in the next academic year for transformation in their lives and ministry.
