Going into the game, the Techiman-man based side needed a win to advance to semis, having secured three points against defending champions AS Far in their first game.

Coach Nana Adarkwah was forced to make some unusual changes in his squad which saw Mary Amponsah miss out in the first 11.

The Ladies in white and blue, Ampem Darkoa made an early start in the game, with a breathtaking free kick goal from Tracey Twum in the ninth minute to cause a scare in the game.

Huracanes FC found their feet in the game after going down by a goal as they paraded infront of the Ampem Darkoa defense in search for an equalizer with their long shots.

Shot-stopper, Deborah Brown made some crucial saves getting to the first half of the game which kept her side in the game.

After recess, Ampem Darkoa was served with some golden opportunities but could not increase their goal-tally against their opponents.

Twum was once again right on the spot in the 71st minute to bury a rebound to give her side  a 2-0 lead.

The mission to send Huracanes FC packing was still not done as substitute Gnabegkan also registered her name on the scoresheet in the 88th minute.

An additional five minutes of play saw the ladies in green, Huracanes FC pull back a consolation goal to end the game 3-1.

Tracey Twum was received the MVP award.

The Ghanaian giants would face SC Casablanca in the semi finals whiles AS Far would also face Mamelodi Sundowns in a finals before finals clash.
