Christians urged to build peace

Tamale-Ghana, March 06, GNA – Right Reverend Debukari Tong, Archbishop of the Anglican Diocese of Tamale has said though the world seeks peace, the methods and strategies applied do not produce peace.
He therefore urged Christians to pledge to make a difference in peace building.
He was delivering a sermon during a church service in Tamale on the theme: “The King and the Kingdom: Conflicts”.
Rt Rev Tong said “all we seem to be concerned with is how to enrich ourselves at the expense of others” adding corruption among church and political leaders did not breed the needed peace.
He noted that to have the kind of peace Jesus Christ promised the world, it was important to repent from corrupt practices and begin to love one another.
