The launch, which took place in Accra on December 3, 2022, is to promote his EP and other emerging singers and songwriters.

The EP has 13 songs which was produced by ExpoMadeit and was recorded and released throughout the whole year.

Most songs which were performed at the event were relatable and thrilled fans, as they cheer him on during the launch.

Speaking with GNA Entertainment, the hip-hop artiste said, he was excited about the crowd at the event and thanked them for making the event a success, adding that the love and support given him was enough.

“I would do more to make my fans happy, music is my passion, and I would always love to make good music for my fans in Ghana and abroad,” he said.

He said, the music industry was not doing well, because it doesn’t give the platforms to other emerging artistes to exhibit their talents.

When asked about his motivation he said, he moves with the moment and does not have to be seriously motivated.

Winky has an upcoming project which is a show organised to promote and support musicians.

It would begin next year 2023, but the date is yet to be announced.

He advised all upcoming artistes to listen to themselves, do what they feel like doing with free will and passion.

“Don’t listen to anyone who says Ghanaians don’t like hip-hop”, Ghanaians really love hip-hop.

“Artistes from the Western world come to perform shows here and Ghanaians sing perfectly, so just do what your energy tells you,” he said.

Winky started his music career in 2009, when he was in high school.

He used to perform rap battles in school and perform at inter-school games and jams.
