Mrs Agyeman-Rawlings, who signed the Book of Condolence, was accompanied by her daughters; Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Klottey Korle, and Amina Agyeman-Rawlings.

Also in the delegation were Mr Fritz Baffour, a former Information Minister, Madam Sylvia Ahorlu and Mr Kobina Andoh Amoakwa, a statement issued by Mr Kobina Andoh Amoakwa, the Communications Director, Office of the former President Jerry John Rawlings, said.

Mr Baffour, who spoke on behalf of Mrs Agyeman-Rawlings, told Mr Kufuor that the delegation was there to commiseration with him on the unfortunate loss of his dear wife.

Mr Kufuor was thankful to the delegation for the show of sympathy and took time to explain the chain of events that led to the loss of his wife and down memory lane, reminiscing the circumstances that led to the first meeting with his wife in 1961 in London.

With former President Kufuor were Mr Kwabena Taylor, Head of Theresa Kufuor’s family; Nana Kwabena Mensah, Chief of Dabaa, Hometown of President Kufuor; Dr Kwabena Osei-Adubofour, his Senior Aide, and Mr Adu Acheampong.

Mr Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament, and a large parliamentary delegation, had earlier called to sumpathise with the family, who exchanged pleasantries with Nana Konadu before departure.
