The association underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships between the government and the seed industry to tackle agricultural challenges.

Mr. Opoku expressed confidence in the partnership, stating that enhanced cooperation with the NaSTAG could significantly impact Ghana’s agricultural productivity and self-sufficiency goals.

He emphasised that public-private collaboration was key to advancing sustainable food systems.

Dr. Azinu extended gratitude to the Minister for the invitation, acknowledging Chief Director Siameh for swiftly coordinating the meeting, Deputy Minister Dumelo for his warm reception, and Technical Adviser Etu-Bonde for his valuable insights.

The meeting marked a pivotal moment for Ghana’s seed sector, reinforcing efforts to align industry expertise with national development objectives and strengthen the foundation for a resilient agricultural system.

The engagement was an essential step toward fostering sustainable food production and ensuring effective policy implementation in Ghana’s agricultural sector.
