“Ofon Na Edi Asem Fo” is hot and ready – Daddy Lumba on latest release

Accra-Ghana, Dec. 24, GNA – Ghanaian legendary highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as ‘Daddy Lumba’, is set to release his new song dubbed “Ofon Na Edi Asem Fo”.

The song adds up to the rich collection of the music icon, whose career spans over three decades.

Daddy Lumba has to his credit 30 albums with over 200 songs and still counting.

The legend, on his Instagram page, described the song as ‘hot’ and ready to be aired live for the first time on his DL Facebook page (Friday, December 23, 2022).

“I have a surprise for you. It is a very small one, and that is the long-awaited single, ‘Efon Na Edi Asem Fo’.

“I promise you, we are going to have a good time together.”

The legend, on his social media page, posted a video wishing Ghanaians and his teeming fans a merry Christmas, expressing gratitude for the massive support he had been enjoying.

“Hello, my name is Daddy Lumba. At this time of the year, I humbly want to use the opportunity to express my gratitude to the people of Ghana and my fans around the whole world for their love and affection throughout all these years and for being there for me when I needed them most.

“I am very grateful. ‘Ayeekoo’ and thank you”.

Some hit songs of the multi award-winning highlife music icon include, ‘Ye Ne Wo Sere Kwa’, ‘Adaka Tea’, ‘Bribi Gyegye Wo’, among others.
