Nana Kwaku Sabeng II, the Acting President of the Sunyani Traditional Council, who gave the assurance, said, “we are solidly behind the NPP, and we promise never to let you down in the General Elections.”

He emphasised that the Council and the entire chiefs and people of the region would be forever grateful to the NPP government for reshaping the Sunyani town roads, and commended Mr Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh, the incumbent Member of Parliament and the NPP Parliamentary candidate for his instrumental role towards the on-going asphalt overlay township.

Nana Sabeng II said the council believed that voting for the NPP would facilitate continuity of development in the Sunyani Municipality and the Bono region by extension.

Describing Mr Ameyaw-Cheremeh as an epitome of development, Nana Sabeng II stressed the electorate’s readiness to maintain the MP in the elections for the progressive development of the constituency.

“In fact, we are grateful to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Alhaji Dr Bawumia for the asphalt overlay of Sunyani, which has added to the beauty of the Township,” he stated.

“We love the NPP and the government because of its passion for development and whoever represents the party, we are going to vote for the person as our MP. The next time we meet we shall address you as the Vice President,” he added.

Dr Prempeh said he was highly elated by the support from the traditional council and on behalf of the Vice President Dr Bawumia, presented keys to a brand-new vehicle to the traditional council.

Dr Prempeh, who was accompanied by Mr Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organizer and Director of Operations of the NPP, Mr Kwame Baffoe, the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP and Mr Alfred Tuah Yeboah, the Deputy Attorney General and Minister for Justice, also addressed a mammoth political rally at Abesim in the constituency.

He highlighted some contents of the NPP Election 2024 political party manifesto and called on the electorates there to vote for Dr Bawumia and Mr Ameyaw-Cheremeh when they go to polls on December 7.
