President John Dramani Mahama will visit the Upper East Region on Thursday, March 20, 2025, as part of his nationwide “Thank You” tour following his victory in the December 7, 2024, elections.
The President is expected to address a durbar of chiefs and people at the Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga, to express his gratitude for their support and reiterate his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises to the region.
Apart from winning the Presidential elections convincingly in the region, the National Democratic Congress also secured all 15 Parliamentary seats..
The visit is part of effort to express his gratitude to the region for their endorsement and outline some of the policies being undertaken to address the critical issues confronting the region.
